Tim Wege - Durban, South Africa

Tim organized the entire southern tip of Africa for this project by chance. Clearly the man knows who is who with his finger on the pulse of the place. I told him I loved Johnny Clegg and Savuka and he said, 'I interviewed him last week.' So knowing Tim is like being two degrees of separation from a God among men. I thought we might be able to capture Johnny in concert during our moment, but alas he was not scheduled to play at the time. Being the man who knows everyone, it was not surprising to see the great heroes that Tim was able to follow for his moments.
